South Brunswick high school students are setting up a food drive on February 21 and 22 from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m. in four supermarkets locally. They are doing this local food drive as part of a program called SBHS Character Education. As of right now 350 kids and 30-40 adults are signed up to participate in this drive. All the food donated will go to a fund called the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS). Most of the kids that are volunteering are doing it because they see the effect that the economy has taken on them.
